WEEPING WILLOW
Hey there, weeping willow,
Your mournful beauty, with serenity and tranquillity,
Swept by the wind, swaying your branches and leaves smoothly,
I feel a sense of peace, just looking at you,
Because somewhere, I am weeping too,
With sorrows and pain, I try to leave behind,
That made a lake of tears, drowning me more and more...
Hey there, weeping willow,
You are my only friend during rough patches,
Because you help me connect with inner harmony that was once blurred within,
I have an epiphany falling into your lap with your shadow upon me,
Looking at the lake where swans are gliding, fish are swimming,
And you exist by its side peacefully,
I return home with the eternal peace you’ve granted me
Hey there, weeping willow,
I will come to you again,
When I weep with sorrows and pain,
To find solace in your solitary existence ….
[Though I’ve never spent time beside a lake with a weeping willow, I have always been fascinated by its beauty since I first saw one. It gives off such melancholic vibes with a pinch of an unprecedented sense of peace within, and in perfect gloomy weather, it can be even more dramatic.I love to imagine myself spending some time on its shadow by the lake. 🤍.)
